Annual and Corporate Social Responsibility Report Awards

The ASPC Annual and Corporate Social Responsibility Report Awards Competition honors the outstanding work done by our colleagues each year on these most important documents that, together, tell the story of not just what an organization does but how it benefits the communities it serves and the wider world.

The competition judges entries from four revenue classes, one of which is dedicated to non-profit organizations, on the major features of the report: Front Cover, Letter to Stakeholders, Narrative, Design and Photography, Financial Presentation, and Interactive Online Experience.

Our judges – all of whom are professional communicators with a decade or more of experience working on annual and CSR reports across the private and public sectors – consider how design influences (or is influenced by) the narrative tone, the transparency and authenticity of the content, the organizational structure or framework that provides context for the information presented within the report, the clarity of financial information throughout the report, and how the information within the report is presented online. It is important to note, regarding CSR reports, that judging is focused on the achievements of the professional communicators who produce these reports; it is not our aim to judge the merits of an organization’s CSR program.

The entry period for the 2017 ASPC Annual and CSR Report Awards program closed on October 13, 2017. Honorees will be notified in late November and announced publicly on December 4, 2017.
